Sales Operations Coordinator

The Sales Planner will be responsible for organizing and coordinating sales operations to ensure the efficient execution of sales activities. This role involves scheduling internal sales-related events and meetings, gathering and analyzing sales forecasts, managing budgets, projects, and leads, and supporting the sales group with various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and Reporting:
- Gather and analyze sales budget/forecasts from sales managers and other related departments
- Gather and monitor projects/leads information collected from each sales group
- Report to and communicate with Japan HQ regarding sales matters
- Coordinating:
- Coordinate training events with sales managers in collaboration with internal/external related entities to support continuous development
- Other Related Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with other departments, such as sales administration and accounting, to ensure seamless operations
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, events, and deadlines efficiently
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret sales data and forecasts
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with sales managers and other departments
- Project Management:
- Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and executing projects and events
- Budget Management:
- Understanding of budgeting principles and ability to manage and monitor budgets effectively
- Detail-Oriented:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection, reporting, and event planning
- Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and other departments
- Language Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese
- English skills are a plus
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business or a related field
- Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of sales planning or a related field
- Eligibility:
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer
- Essential position functions require ability to routinely read documents for general understanding and analytical purposes and viewing a computer monitor
