Senior Automation Systems Designer

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to join GPAC. This critical role requires designing and developing clear, complete, and accurately working products and systems using CAD, sketches, and notes.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings, ensuring accurate material dimensions and relationships with other parts and the entire structure or project.
- Review development plans for compliance with engineering standards.
- Verify dimensional accuracy of structural layouts and installations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure documentation meets specifications.
- Work closely with sales teams and customers on design and applications.
- Critique proposed engineering standards, policies, or details.
- Serve as a project manager.
Requirements:
- Equivalent to a two- or four-year degree preferred with coursework in engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with PLC programming.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits.
- Excellent computer skills with drafting programs.
