Job Overview:
  • Conduct security inspections of assigned locations on foot or via vehicle and document findings.
  • Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions that may pose security risks or safety threats.
  • Alert authorities or emergency services in case of fire or unauthorized individuals on the premises.
  • Advise individuals of rule violations, such as loitering or possession of prohibited items.
  • Authorize entry for permitted individuals and oversee access points.
  • Observe outgoing personnel to safeguard against theft of company assets and ensure compliance with client protocols.
  • Investigate and compile reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious behaviors.
  • Assist students, employees, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage disturbances and support staff in de-escalating tense situations.
  • Transport students as required.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must successfully complete any state-mandated training or qualifications for licensing.
  • Possession of a current and valid driver's license is necessary.
  • A Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake and passenger endorsements is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license in the state of employment with a clean driving record is essential.
  • Must undergo a background check and drug screening with satisfactory results.

  • Ability to engage positively and communicate effectively with the public.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Active listening capabilities.
  • Proficient in assessing and evaluating situations accurately.
