Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner plays a crucial role in achieving clinical, administrative, and financial performance goals. This position is dedicated to implementing, delivering, and ensuring the highest standards of patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive, patient-focused primary care services.
  • Engage in the development of appropriate treatment plans for all patients.
  • Oversee staff to guarantee that the care team is fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
  • Support other healthcare providers and extended care teams.
  • Maintain continuous availability for medical and technical inquiries from employees, patient care staff, and ancillary care providers, including after-hours support.
  • Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in multidisciplinary quality assurance programs.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance patient care quality.
  • Contribute to clinical outcome assessments and reviews.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Provide general medical care and treatment to patients under physician supervision, as permitted by state regulations.
  • Submit individualized healthcare plans and objectives for periodic evaluation by a physician.
  • Prescribe or recommend medications and other therapeutic interventions, including physical therapy and inhalation therapy.
  • Refer patients to physicians for specialized consultations or additional health resources as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Board Certification is required.
  • Must hold a valid license to practice in the relevant state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in promoting clinic services.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Full range of motion, including the potential for handling and lifting patients.
  • Corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges are required for effective communication with patients and team members.
The compensation for this role ranges from $71.50 to $82.23 per hour, subject to variation based on work location, relevant skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for a 401K plan.
