Job Summary

The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Primary Care Services: Deliver patient-centered care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients to create personalized treatment plans, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and goals.
  • Supervise and Mentor Healthcare Staff: Provide guidance and support to healthcare staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement programs, including data analysis, process improvement, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Clinical Experience: Proven experience in primary care or a related field, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Board Certification: Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on primary care.
  • Licensure and Certification: Valid licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment, with current BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Leadership and Mentorship Experience: Proven experience in leadership and mentorship roles, with a focus on developing and supporting healthcare staff.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Standing, Walking, and Sitting: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, with occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual Dexterity and Hand-Eye Coordination: Ability to perform manual tasks, including handling and lifting patients, with good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
