  5. Enhances revenue by suggesting new services to clients, generating leads through existing services, and engaging in community and business organizations.
  6. Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Local financial regulations by adhering to established accounting principles and staying informed on changes in financial standards.
  7. Communicates effectively with managers, clients, staff, and ownership by analyzing and reporting client status, summarizing information, and addressing critical issues.
  8. Maintains professional development by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, and building professional networks.
Additional Responsibilities:
Contributes positively to team dynamics by maintaining a constructive attitude and performing other assigned tasks as necessary. Fosters cooperative relationships with staff and clients through effective communication, responsiveness to requests, and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or an associate's degree with a minimum of four years of experience in public accounting.
  • Two to three years of experience in a public accounting environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with staff, clients, and external contacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to ethical accounting practices.
