Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Security Specialist to join our team at ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. As a Security Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our airport operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Screen Aircraft Equipment: Conduct thorough inspections of airline equipment to detect any unauthorized items.
  • Screen Cargo and Passengers: Use designated equipment and methods to screen cargo and passengers, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
  • Monitor Aircraft and Airport Activity: Observe and monitor unit activity and facility surroundings, reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents to management.
  • Perform Gate Guarding and Wanding: Conduct passenger wanding and gate guarding duties according to customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure airport environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Background Check and FBI Fingerprinting: New employees must undergo a background check and FBI fingerprinting as part of the hiring process.
  • Ability to Lift and Bend: The ability to lift up to 30 pounds and bend regularly is required for this role.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License: A valid U.S. driver's license is required for this position.
  • U.S. Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Security Experience: Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for this role.
