  • Clearance and Settlement: The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliation: You will be responsible for reconciling accounts managed by the Securities & Derivatives area.
  • Process Improvement: You will serve as an analytical or procedural expert for securities processing deliverables/initiatives, minimizing risk to the bank by monitoring errors and suggesting solutions that reduce errors.
  • Quality Control: You will monitor, analyze, and evaluate processes and data to ensure the accuracy and quality of completed settlement tasks.
  • Compliance: You will appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding bank, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Leadership: You will lead projects and initiatives, providing informal guidance or on-the-job training to lower-level/new securities processing team members when required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial risk management, derivatives analysis, or compliance.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
Skills:
  • Financial Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
