Field Operations Coordinator

A Field Operations Coordinator is a key team member at Clean Harbors, responsible for leading the daily operations of the service line crew. The successful candidate will ensure proper equipment operation, drive operational efficiencies, and document job-related activities in a timely manner.
With a strong background in environmental field service operations, construction, or manufacturing, the ideal candidate will have experience in planning, organizing, and coordinating daily operations. Travel and overnight stays may be required up to 2-4 nights per month, and the candidate must be available for on-call emergency response situations.
The Field Operations Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with safe work practices, policies, and processes
- Equipment Preparation: Reviewing work orders and ensuring all required equipment is available and operational
- Job Site Inspection: Inspecting equipment and the general work area prior to starting any job
- Team Communication: Collaborating with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
- Maintenance and Repair: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required
- Documentation: Completing all necessary paperwork, including service receipts
- Training and Development: Training Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes
- Safety Meetings: Leading safety meetings and ensuring compliance with HPC safety policies
- Progress and Resource Management: Meeting progress deadlines and efficiently utilizing resources
- Crew Management: Instructing, providing feedback, directing, and assisting crew members in performance of job duties
- Company Policies: Enforcing Company employee policies and removing employees from job duties when required
- Compliance: Following all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operating vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements
- Additional Responsibilities: Performing other duties as assigned and working in confined spaces for periods of time

Requirements:
- Experience in environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or a similar industry
- Ability to travel overnight up to 2-4 nights per month
- Ability to be on-call for emergency response situations
- Ability to pull a trailer via pick-up truck (preferred)
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to manage project-related vendors
- Ability to manage, reconcile, and review all job-related documentation
- Ability to work in confined spaces for periods of time
