About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Operations Coordinator to join our team at American Pacific Mortgage. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our General Counsel by preparing and organizing legal documents, conducting internal document searches, and scheduling meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation and Review: Draft, review, and format legal documents, including contracts, correspondence, and other essential paperwork.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our General Counsel, including calendar management, travel coordination, and preparation of legal correspondence.
  • File Management: Maintain and organize physical and electronic legal files for ongoing matters and ensure all relevant information is properly collected and stored.
  • Client and Lender Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for the APM Legal Department, interacting with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders as needed.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, and $1,000 signing bonus. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more.

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with a business law firm or corporate legal department.
  • An associate degree in paralegal studies or a related field, with a paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
