Job Description

Dynamo Software is a leading global FinTech Research and Portfolio Management SaaS provider offering an industry-tailored, highly configurable SaaS platform solving challenges across the alternative investment landscape.

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial statements, transactions, and valuation methodologies, with a focus on the alternative asset space and/or portfolio valuation experience.

The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, superior analytical capabilities, and a self-starter mentality with the ability to lead teams through influence to meet business objectives.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Product Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a consultative approach to supporting Dynamo's clients utilizing Valuation products as a subject matter expert, as well as the broader portfolio monitoring product capabilities.
  • Understand key challenges and work with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient integration of our tools within client workflows.
  • Participate in implementation projects with cross-functional teammates from client services, development, and QA.
  • Independently seek and capture detailed requirements based on direct client engagement.
  • Iteratively user acceptance test new capabilities alongside Dev/QA to ensure project goals are met.
  • Inform internal teams of new product capabilities via presentations and documentation.
  • Educate clients and prospects on product capabilities and best practices, sometimes during the pre-sales process in a sales engineering capacity.
  • Develop and continually improve demonstration databases based on feedback from sales.
  • Consistently gather client feedback and identify and advocate for product roadmap additions.
  • Collaborate with other product managers to support dependencies between features/modules.
  • Work alongside our Client Services team in successfully implementing clients with complex business and product needs.
  • Be an escalation point for client product issues, using your business knowledge to find resolutions within the products capabilities.
  • Continually increase your knowledge of Dynamo's clients, products, and user best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the alternative asset space and/or portfolio valuation experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, transactions, and valuation methodologies.
  • Progress towards financial certifications such as CFA is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Superior analytical capabilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead teams through influence to meet business objectives.
  • Experience in the alternative investment industry, knowledge of financial technology a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours around critical due dates.
  • Curiosity to achieve and maintain expert level knowledge of Dynamo's clients and products.
