Position Overview

Job Title: Waitstaff
Department: Dining & Catering, Tuck

Position Summary:
The role involves delivering exceptional service at various upscale events hosted by Tuck Dining Services, including buffets, plated meals, and receptions. This is a part-time, temporary position, with a competitive tipped rate in addition to the base wage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service during catered events.
  • Assist in bar setup and service.
  • Support the catering team with the setup, service, and cleanup of events.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with fellow staff members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and follow directions.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with wine and bartending.
  • Previous experience in a high-end dining environment.

Employment Details:
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Type: Temporary Part-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 2:30pm, for a limited number of weeks per year.
