Global Aviation Coordinator

Role Summary
Join LS Technologies, LLC as a Global Aviation Coordinator, where your skills will contribute to the advancement of the FAA's comprehensive upgrade of its telecommunications framework. Collaborate with a team of specialists at our contractor site, with the option for remote work, as they evaluate innovative technologies that support this transformative initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizing and leading meetings, gathering and overseeing documentation, and preparing presentations
- Overseeing critical objectives and timelines, ensuring project scope assessments align with planned goals and schedules
- Engaging with both domestic and international stakeholders, including the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) and the Asian Pacific Region (APAC) SWIM Task Force
- Assisting in various engineering tasks and deliverables related to standards formulation, use case creation, requirements evaluation, application development, testing, and implementation.
Educational Background
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in strategic planning support for enterprise-level programs and initiatives
- Ability to swiftly adapt to changing and often competing priorities
- Experience in presenting to both international and domestic organizations, with the capacity to lead and support discussions at various levels
- Familiarity with project and program management to ensure adherence to deadlines and milestones
- Experience in escalation processes, seeking resolutions and managing relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Project, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)
- Knowledge of FAA standards is advantageous
- Experience with FAA Safety Risk Management processes
Work Environment
- Location: DC, MD, VA
- Work Schedule: Hybrid, standard working hours
- Travel Requirements: 15%
- Physical Demands:
- Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal.
- Mobility: Ability to navigate the office environment to access computer hardware and networking equipment.
- Dexterity: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Sitting/Standing: Prolonged sitting and occasional standing may be necessary for troubleshooting and addressing system issues.
- Background Check: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation at LS Technologies is determined by various factors, including education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, location, and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40-hour workweek status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position and is just one component of LS Technologies' total compensation package for employees.
