Position Summary:
The Coordinator of School Culture and Student Success (CSCSC) at GGA is a professional educator or counselor who recognizes the diverse and evolving needs of our female student body. Reporting directly to the Principal and collaborating closely with coordinators, managers, and other leadership team members, the CSCSC fosters a climate of positivity, cultural awareness, inclusivity, and belonging that empowers our girls' global competence. This role involves supporting and guiding student culture, experiential learning, and college and career readiness while consistently demonstrating service, leadership, integrity, collaboration, and empathy, and promoting these core values among students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership in School Culture:
- Guide the strategic establishment and maintenance of a positive and thriving school culture.
- Implement restorative practices and positive behavior interventions.
- Oversee the attendance team, discipline processes, and teacher support initiatives.
- Program Support:
- Develop professional development programs for schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
- Lead and manage enrichment programs and community engagement initiatives.
- Supervise multi-tier support systems teams, including College and Career Readiness counselors, Advisory Program team, and school social worker.
- Community Engagement:
- Promote GGA's cultural vision to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships that support the social-emotional development of staff and students.
- Encourage a common language for all initiatives related to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and safety.
- Operational Support:
- Lead school-wide celebrations and wellness activities.
- Utilize data to enhance outcomes and manage event logistics, providing support as necessary.
- Oversee extracurricular activities during and after school.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of teaching, counseling, and leadership experience in an urban educational setting.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Master's degree preferred.
- Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong cultural competency and ability to engage with diverse students and staff.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment and navigate complex situations.
- Experience using data to inform instructional decisions and coach others in data utilization.
- Strategic planning skills with a focus on achieving results.
- Energetic, flexible, creative, and innovative with strengths-based, student-centered support plans.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
