Position Overview

The Patient Experience Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all clinical and service-related requirements of patients are effectively addressed. This position involves welcoming new patients, conducting proactive follow-ups, resolving concerns, and facilitating mediation when required. Furthermore, the coordinator will evaluate service data to enhance communication and quality of care. The role is pivotal in supporting initiatives that boost patient satisfaction and fostering positive patient experiences through the development and delivery of customer service training. Establishing strong relationships with patients, their families, and healthcare staff is vital to cultivating a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Patient Experience Coordinator is dedicated to providing tailored support to improve the experiences of patients and their families. This includes enhancing communication and quality through customer service training, coaching, and resolving issues. The role also encompasses data analysis and project assistance. Strong communication skills, conflict resolution expertise, and exceptional customer service abilities are essential for success in this position.

Required Qualifications

  • Availability from Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 8:30 pm, with a focus on the Critical Care Unit
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Relations, Social Work, or a related discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across various organizational levels
  • Analytical skills aimed at driving process enhancements
