Perinatal Safety Specialist Clinical Leader

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $140,000 per year.
About the Role:- This position is responsible for implementing, promoting, supporting, and overseeing perinatal patient safety and quality of care initiatives and programs.
- As a perinatal safety specialist, you will combine clinical expertise with a focus on patient safety to provide high-quality care and support to pregnant women and their families.
- You will ensure all care providers on Maternal Child Health adhere to national clinical standards and principles.
- In this role, you will serve as a patient safety advocate and clinical role model in perinatal nursing obstetrics.
- A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing is required.
- A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a clinician in Women's Services is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of project experience in Women and Infants Perinatal Safety is also required.
- Experience with quality improvement/process improvement techniques and project/program management is necessary.
- A current RN License in the applicable state is required.
- Certification in one of the following is preferred: CCRN-NEO, C-EFM, RN-BC MCN, RN-BC-PERI, RNC [OB, GYN, NEONATAL], RNC-LRN, RNC-MNN, RNC-NIC, RNC-OB.
- BLS and NRP within 90 days are also required.
