Safety Professional - Environmental Compliance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional - Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and enforcing safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain programs to identify and correct unsafe work conditions
  • Provide oversight of programs through personal on-site inspections
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for new hires, employees, and subcontractors onsite
  • Investigate incidents thoroughly, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans
  • Maintain all employee training documentation
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 5 years of safety experience in the General and/or Construction industry
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety processes and guidelines and Worker's Compensation regulations
  • Successfully completed OSHA General Industry 30 hr. training course
  • CPR and First Aid certification (Trainer certification is a plus)
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, profit sharing, and tuition reimbursement.

This role is based in LaPlatte, NE.
