Position Overview
Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the ICU - Intensive Care Unit. This role involves providing critical care nursing services in various healthcare settings.

Job Responsibilities

The Critical Care RN is accountable for delivering comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.

Key Duties
  • Effectively communicates with patients and staff to ensure a clear understanding of treatment plans.
  • Demonstrates empathy towards patients' physical, spiritual, and emotional needs, while assessing their responses to care.
  • Promotes and supports organizational initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care quality.
  • Manages departmental and patient activities efficiently to ensure organized and proficient care delivery.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a professional and respectful environment.
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of one year recent experience in Critical Care within a similar healthcare environment. Previous travel experience is required.

Education:
• Minimum of a 2-Year Degree; a 4-Year Degree is preferred.
• Current RN Licensure is mandatory for the state of practice.

Certifications:
• NIH, BLS, and ACLS certification (AHA) are required.
• Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and caring for ventilated patients are essential.
