About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Lead to oversee our accounting operations and contribute to our story of growth and success. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory-led businesses and proficiency with accounting software like Xero.

Job Description
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, monitor and reconcile inventory accounts to maintain accuracy, and review inventory costing, including cost of goods sold and valuation.
  • Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), document and maintain accounting processes and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting roles, prior experience in an inventory-led business is highly advantageous, and experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls, advanced proficiency with MS Excel, and strong detail orientation.

The estimated salary for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 per annum, with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Opportunities to develop FP&A and finance-related skillsets are also available.
