Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to other skilled crafts working on the project, ensuring a smooth and efficient construction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for form carpenters and concrete operations, including handling and transporting materials.
  • Assist ironworkers/rodbusters with installing reinforcing steel and masons with installing block and brickwork.
  • Prepare areas for concrete placement, including excavation and fine grading.
  • Assemble and strip concrete forms, and assist in transporting them for storage.
  • Support concrete finishers in moving power trowels and power screeds.
  • Handle and transport materials, including cement, lime, sand, and grout, and stock blocks and bricks.
  • Assist carpenters in handling and setting door frames.
  • Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute site materials according to project plans and specifications.
  • Promote a safe work environment and communicate jobsite hazards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to follow safe work practices and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Experience with construction machinery and equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification.
