Quality Assurance Manager for Older Adults Programs

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our Older Adults Programs team at Jewish Family Service LA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance in our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contract compliance for Older Adults Programs, including Claims Conference, MSSP, and ALW contracts.
  • Provide daily direction and supervisory oversight to the Program Coordinator of the Holocaust Survivors Program.
  • Create and maintain systems for assessment, tracking, and monitoring of program data.
  • Compile reports and maintain program statistics for funding sources and regulatory agencies.
  • Liaise with outside agencies, community members, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Train staff members on contract requirements and compliance issues.
  • Monitor and communicate effectively on contract modifications and updates.
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and effectiveness of current systems.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a social sciences field.
  • 2+ years of quality assurance experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Progressive management experience and program operations and contract compliance experience are highly desired.
  • Solid clinical skills and understanding of clinical terminology.
  • Strong organizational, assessment, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid training skills and ability to impart information to staff.
  • High degree of detail orientation and analytical thinking.
  • Knowledge of CARF, Joint Commission, state standards, or other accreditation bodies and criteria is a plus.
