We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Manager to join our team at IGT. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for leading special projects related to IGT's compliance with U.S. GAAP for the Gaming and Digital segment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical accounting guidance to internal customers and prepare technical accounting position papers supporting conclusions reached
- Provide guidance and training to divisional accounting and finance directors on technical accounting matters
- Monitor and review the actual recording of the accounting treatment to ensure compliance with the issued technical accounting papers
- Assist with the analysis of contracts under revenue recognition and leasing standards
- Perform key control activities identified for matters within the team scope
- Support the month end close process
- Support the quarterly and annual financial statement disclosure process
- Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
- B.A./B.S. Degree in Accounting
- +5 years of combined Public and Private Industry accounting
- CPA certified, preferred
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience within a multinational business preferred
