Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Waterway Carwash. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell car wash services, memberships, and additional purchase options to customers, achieving sales and revenue goals for the location.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, ensuring a positive visit for every customer.
  • Keep convenience store merchandise stocked and organized, displays clean and well presented.
  • Process transactions accurately, using point-of-sale technology, and maintain cash drawer integrity.
  • Follow Waterway policies, procedures, and guidance, including those related to safety.

Requirements

  • 6 months of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales is strongly preferred.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
  • Professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others.
  • Ability to comply with local/State health code requirements for soda fountain and food service/sales.
  • Ability to complete all required trainings/certifications.

Physical Requirements

  • Work Environment/Physical Demands: May work primarily outdoors year-round, and be exposed to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather, humidity, wet surfaces, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, and brief exposure to car wash tunnel noise.
  • Physical: Periods of extended standing, bending, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, drive vehicles, reach above and below shoulder level.
  • Vision and Hearing: Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision and depth perception. Hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds.
  • Language: Must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business-related purposes.
  • Cognitive: Perform arithmetic calculations and operate data entry devices.
  • Attendance: Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
