REPORTS TO: Store Management

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary role of the Sales Associate is to effectively promote and sell Tommy Hilfiger products by adhering to the TH Customer Service Standards. Additionally, the Sales Associate is responsible for various operational tasks as assigned by Store Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in line with TH standards.
  • Maintain optimal merchandise levels on the sales floor.
  • Ensure the store's visual presentation is distinctive and impeccably maintained.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shortages.
  • Stay informed about store sales goals and personal contributions to achieving them.
  • Adhere to all operational policies and procedures.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUS:

  • Maximize sales potential by following TH Customer Service standards.
  • Build a loyal customer base through outstanding service.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, promotions, and events to enhance selling effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive shopping experience by treating all customers and colleagues with respect.
  • Maintain zone coverage and prioritize customer engagement over assigned tasks.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Represent the Tommy Hilfiger brand through professional appearance and conduct.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours as determined by management.

OPERATIONAL DUTIES:

  • Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Monitor the sales floor and stockroom for loss prevention and report any suspicious activities.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures as directed by management to ensure readiness for business.
  • Be capable of lifting at least 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.

MERCHANDISING & VISUAL STANDARDS:

  • Ensure accurate and consistent replenishment of products on the sales floor.
  • Comply with visual merchandising standards.
  • Execute markdowns and re-merchandising as necessary.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of store fixtures and general areas.
