Job Summary

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled professional to join our Derivatives Implementations & Change Management team in North America. As an Assistant Vice President, you will play a key role in driving STP & Automation efforts, focusing on new business integration & change management in the Derivatives COE. This team is responsible for supporting continuous operating model enhancements across the lifecycle of derivatives servicing, from trade management through to accounting, pricing and reconciliation - for back office, middle office and Alpha clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training/coaching to ensure comprehensive knowledge of overall process and operating models
  • Exercise discretion and judgment with respect to matters of significance, collaborating with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues
  • Encourage suggestions for, and implementation of, continuous improvements to core products and services, helping others adapt to new values, attitudes, norms and behaviors that support new ways of doing work and limiting risk
  • Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities, sharing responsibility for participating in corporate committees and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain procedures, acting in accordance with Risk Excellence as part of our Way Ahead foundation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent
  • 8 years of related financial services experience, with strong OTC Derivatives Product Knowledge and client on-boarding and/or large project implementation experience
  • An understanding of Change Management, with the ability to evaluate and analyze complex data, and experience in Middle or Back Office Operations an advantage
  • Strong analytical and solid time management skills, able to prioritize, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and agile project methodology experience and testing support experience is preferred
