Job Description

Turion Space is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering teams and drive the development of innovative solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for all engineering functions within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the engineering strategy to align with the company's overall objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across engineering teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
  • Drive technological innovation and the development of new products and solutions.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure successful integration of engineering solutions.
  • Develop and manage the engineering budget.
  • Implement and maintain engineering processes and standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
