Job Title: Vice President of Business Development

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Business Development to join our Capital Markets and Investment team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for raising equity for our Evergreen Fund and other projects, as well as managing investor relations. This position offers a great opportunity to join an experienced team of dedicated professionals operating in a highly successful environment and offers close partner and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fundraising and Investor Relations: Lead fundraising efforts to secure capital for our Evergreen Fund as well as other real estate investments. Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential investors, including institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for raising capital.
  3. Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with legal advisors to prepare and review fund documentation and investor agreements.
  4. Communication: Regularly communicate with investors to provide updates on fund performance, investment opportunities, and market insights.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  2. A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of raising equity for real estate projects, Private Equity, or Placement Agents.
  3. Proven exceptional written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with investors.
  4. Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  5. Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  6. Ability to mentor, train, and lead a team respectfully.
  7. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
  9. A deep understanding of the real estate industry, with a focus on hospitality.
  10. Familiarity with managing a network of Limited Partners relationships.
  11. Excellent grasp of alternative asset classes.
  12. Ability to wear multiple hats, perform well under pressure, and self-initiate.
  13. Acute attention to accuracy and detail.
  14. Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.
  15. Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  16. Proven track record raising funds from global investors; ideally demonstrating experience in raising $1bn.
  17. This role will be based in the US.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. A network of Sovereign Wealth Funds, Endowment Funds, and Pension Funds.
  2. Experience as an executive from top-tier investment funds is preferred; however, investment banking professionals or placement agents can be considered.
