Job Summary

The CNC Machinist position at Exactech is responsible for manufacturing implants and instruments at an introductory level. This role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work from written instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines with minimal assistance to produce high-quality implants and instruments.
  • Work from written instructions, including work instructions and blueprints, to ensure accurate production.
  • Adjust offsets to maintain dimensional integrity and ensure products meet quality expectations.
  • Inspect own work with minimal assistance to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Meet production standards and quality expectations, and document results accurately.
  • Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Document and report any process deviations to the team leader.
  • Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures.
  • Apply the Quality System and relevant Federal and International standards to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary to achieve production goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to read blueprints and understand simple programs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
