Position Overview: We are currently looking for a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our team at Bartelt Packaging, a ProMach Company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC milling, with a focus on conversational programming and effective fixturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify conversational programs for CNC milling machines.
  • Execute programmed instructions with precision and efficiency.
  • Design, set up, and optimize fixtures for machining tasks.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure fixture integrity and production efficiency.
  • Operate and monitor multiple CNC milling machines simultaneously.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate new techniques into daily work.
  • Engage in training programs to enhance technical skills.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and team members to streamline workflow.
  • Communicate effectively to share insights and solutions within the team.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine settings and production runs.

  • Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; degree in CNC Machining or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-6 years of relevant machining experience.
  • Proven expertise as a CNC Mill Machinist.
  • Strong skills in conversational programming for CNC machines.
  • Proficient in fixturing for precise workpiece positioning.
  • Ability to manage multiple machines effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and growth in the manufacturing sector.
  • Solid understanding of machining techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
