Role Summary:
Centralized Scheduling Representatives play a crucial role in an office/call center setting, managing incoming calls from new clients to arrange outpatient and psychiatric services. They are essential to the organization, providing the initial interaction that clients have with Burrell Behavioral Health.
Position Details:
This is a full-time role offering benefits, with potential shifts available from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Compensation is set at $15 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to all calls directed to the Referral Office, routing them to the appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Assess customer inquiries to determine service needs, including crisis situations, and process calls accordingly.
- Schedule initial appointments for Outpatient and Psychiatric Services.
- Verify availability for Initial Visits, Rafins, and Intra-Agency Requests for Concurrent Services for providers in the Southwest Region. Maintain the appointment system and ensure clients are scheduled accurately.
- Execute clerical tasks essential for office operations, including sending appointment notifications, reminders, filing, generating reports, maintaining activity logs, and updating tracking systems promptly.
- Utilize various online platforms and software to confirm client insurance eligibility and referral sources.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations consistently when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in customer service, call center, or medical scheduling preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and approach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong typing skills.
- Capable of building effective relationships through phone and in-person interactions, with the ability to follow instructions and accept supervision.
