At Burrell Behavioral Health, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Centralized Scheduling Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for answering calls from first-time clients to schedule outpatient and psychiatric services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer all referral office calls and disburse calls to appropriate staff as needed.
Screen all customer contacts for service need up to and including crisis, process calls accordingly.
Schedule customers for their first-time appointment for outpatient and psychiatric services.
Maintain appointment system and schedule clients appropriately.
Perform all clerical tasks related to the functioning of the office, including sending appointment letters, appointment reminders, filing, reports, activity logs, and timely updates to tracking systems.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Prior customer service, call center, or medical scheduling experience
Friendly customer service mindset and approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work with computers
Ability to work independently
Excellent typing skills
Ability to establish effective relationships via telephone and personal contacts
