Warehouse Manager Job Description

The Warehouse Manager at Maytronics Ltd. will oversee and coordinate the storage and distribution of materials or products as well as warehouse staff. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving and recording new inventory, inspecting and storing it according to policy, and conducting physical inventory to reconcile any differences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials or products, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Staff Management: Schedule and oversee warehouse staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support hiring and training of new employees.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct physical inventory, compare results to computerized inventory, and reconcile any differences.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Schedule materials being transferred to and from the warehouse, coordinate transfer of inventory between departments, and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Operational Excellence: Enforce operating instructions and safety policies, resolve routine equipment issues, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong supervisory and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing variables, knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management, experience with Microsoft, Google Suits, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, experience leading a team in the execution of measurable goals, organizational skills and attention to detail, time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a warehouse environment, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
