Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project teams, managing project execution, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Proposal Preparation
    • Identify new business opportunities and coordinate with the management team for support and overall strategy.
    • Assemble proposals, including risk assessment, estimating, engineering, technical writing, and client Q&A.
    • Negotiate contracts and understand contract requirements.
  • Risk Management
    • Understand and comply with Keller's risk management policies and procedures.
    • Recognize major risks and take appropriate measures to reduce risks to the company.
  • Initial Planning
    • Responsible for designs, submittals, material ordering, and pre-job planning.
    • Plan pre-project meetings with the Superintendent and other entities as required.
  • Project Execution
    • Build and lead effective project-based teams.
    • Ensure work performed meets specified requirements.
    • Work with the branch and project team to ensure the project stays on schedule and in budget.
  • Change Management
    • Identify, track, and address changes; escalate changes when necessary.
  • Financial Management
    • Approve and monitor weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and other metrics.
    • Manage accounts receivable collections.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety requirements.
    • Resolve quality nonconformance issues.
    • Exercise stop work authority for safety and quality issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of geotechnical, construction, or industry-related experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills necessary.
