Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction workers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating all parties involved to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Address and resolve on-site challenges and emergencies promptly to maintain project continuity.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to meet project goals and specifications.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports to keep management informed of progress, challenges, and overall project status.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent with a focus on self-storage construction.
  • Strong background in ground-up, multi-story commercial construction.
  • Proven experience in managing projects across multiple locations with a willingness to travel frequently.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
