Job Title: Network Operations Center System Administrator II


Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team at North Wind Solutions. As a Network Operations Center System Administrator II, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network infrastructure, including core network infrastructure, authentication services, servers, storage, Internet, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and other resources.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor and analyze applications and systems designated as critical to maintain the Hanford Mission Essential Function
  • Configure and manage commercial, alternative, and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) alerts using Network Management applications
  • Perform infrastructure analysis and proactive management of network, platforms, and critical application services for availability
  • Administer, triage, and coordinate Network and Server incidents with technical Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Senior Management team
  • Support Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations (DR/COOP) exercises, testing, and live incidents per policies and procedures
  • Provide after-hour Helpdesk support, including troubleshooting and tracking of resolutions
  • Audit and update Network Operations Center procedures
  • Engage in the automation and modernization of NOC processes and applications

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent years of work experience, or combination of education and relative work experience. Skills and abilities include attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent customer service and communication skills, and ability to adapt to change and quickly learn new tasks.
