Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Tool and Die Makers and Tooling Designers to enhance the reliability and quality of existing tooling.
  • Support the introduction of new products by serving as a technical resource for Roll Forming and/or Tool and Die design.
  • Focus on process improvements that significantly impact the organization.
  • Oversee daily administrative functions within a manufacturing facility, emphasizing the coordination, implementation, and standardization of improvement projects.
  • Monitor operations and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Research and identify financially viable projects, leveraging established leadership skills to build, develop, and guide teams toward effective solutions.
  • Explore long-term growth opportunities within the Technical team across various roles.
Key Accountabilities
  • Integrate safety into all departmental activities to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Monitor daily process activities and propose enhancements to maximize efficiency, focusing on waste reduction, speed optimization, and raw material usage.
  • Manage the coordination, implementation, and standardization of manufacturing process enhancements, establishing and utilizing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support new technologies, implement trial plans, and act as the primary liaison with Corporate Technical Services for process optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address process variability effectively.

QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (experience may substitute for degree).
Experience
  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
  • Experience in Tool and Die Making or Roll Forming.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook).
