Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all kitchen activities, including private dining events, to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control prep production and quality checks of all mise en place prior to service, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Lead by example, ensuring a high-quality guest experience through oversight of employees preparing and cooking food, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Develop and mentor BOH employees and kitchen supervisory positions, providing guidance and support to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to drive menu development, food quality, and cost control, ensuring alignment with the company's culinary vision and goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to build relationships and manage staff at all levels, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a full-service establishment, with a proven track record of success and leadership.
  • A Culinary Arts degree is preferred, but we will consider candidates with exceptional experience and a strong passion for the culinary industry.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, to meet the demands of a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage staff at all levels.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and move 25-50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborative mindset, using a team approach to create an equitable workplace environment and respectful working relationships.
  • Must be a US Citizen, with the ability to work in the United States without restrictions.
