Senior Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

SMMA is seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our building systems design team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing project leadership from concept design through construction administration phases in a range of project types.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project leadership from concept design through construction administration phases in a range of project types.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members through project design phases.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and marketing pursuits.
  • Demonstrate experience with a range of system types and an interest in continuing to learn.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in building systems design and leading design projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A PE is required.
  • A PE is required Knowledge of Revit, Load Calculation Programs, MS Office.
