Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cardiovascular Services to join our team at Emory Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Cardiac Catherization Labs, Electrophysiology Labs, Cardiology post-interventional units, and the associated admission recovery area in an acute care facility.

The Director will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other members of the Medical Staff who utilize the services of the department. This includes budgeting, payroll, and equipment purchases, as well as future planning in regard to advances in cardiac procedures and business development.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of progressive management experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. A master's degree is preferred. The candidate must have the ability to analyze and resolve problems in a manner supportive of hospital policy, as well as an understanding of financial and statistical formats.

The Director will also be responsible for the growth, development, and expansion of the eICU program.
