Cardiology Services Director

About the Role:
The Director of Cardiovascular Services will oversee the efficient and safe operation of the Cardiac Catherization Labs, Electrophysiology Labs, Cardiology post-interventional units, and the associated admission recovery area in an acute care facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective communication with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other members of the Medical Staff.
- Manage the financial aspects of cardiac services, including budgeting, payroll, and equipment purchases.
- Plan for future advances in cardiac procedures and business development.
- Attend regular meetings with cardiologists and hospital committees.
- Grow, develop, and expand the eICU program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- At least three years of progressive management experience and seven years in the field.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a manner supportive of hospital policy.
- Understanding of financial and statistical formats.
- Effective communication skills.
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to function independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
