Job Summary

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert consultative and follow-up care for patients with suspected or proven cardiac issues. Your responsibilities will include taking pertinent history, performing physical exams, and interpreting electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, and other diagnostic tests. You will also be responsible for providing inpatient services, including ordering and interpreting tests and communicating results with families and referring physicians.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert consultative and follow-up care for patients with suspected or proven cardiac issues
* Take pertinent history and perform physical exams
* Interpret electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, and other diagnostic tests
* Provide inpatient services, including ordering and interpreting tests and communicating results with families and referring physicians

Requirements

* Strong hands-on echocardiography skills
* Ability to perform and interpret fetal echocardiograms
* Competency in electronic medical records and policies and procedures of Children's Cardiology and hospitals with privileges
