About the Role

This advanced professional-level position will report into the HCSC Corporate Strategy office, Business Case Hub. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with leading the team in a broad array of financial services / consultation and financial modeling in support of corporate strategic, analytic, planning and integration ensuring continued growth and profitability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading the team in financial services / consultation and financial modeling
  • Support corporate strategic, analytic, planning and integration efforts
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform decision making
  • Develop and implement business cases to drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results
  • Communicate effectively through verbal, written and visual channels

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree / Master's Degree / MBA and 7 years of general industry experience or 3 years consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm
  • Strategy Development/Planning/Implementation: Knowledge of corporate strategy and/or transformation core skill sets
  • Analysis/Synthesis/Insight Generation: Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, provide insights and implications, inform decision making, and make recommendations/prioritize new opportunities to pursue
  • Critical Thinking/Problem Solving: Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex problems with some oversight
  • Project Management: Experience managing complex projects with some oversight
  • Collaboration and Interpersonal Effectiveness: Ability to build strong connections with people and teams, drive results by working across the matrixed environment, and work directly with leadership with some oversight
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written and visual channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA, MHA, MD, JD, or PhD
  • Experience in the life science / healthcare industry strategy, health insurance payer sector, Value Based Care - VBC, Benefits Modeling, Financial Modeling
  • Experience with Corporate Strategy, growth, business case development, value chain impact
  • Extensive Business Case Development, evaluation and success metrics
  • 2 years Management Consulting Experience with healthcare clientele
  • Strong data and analytics skills
  • Financial analysis, financial modeling, financial services experience
  • Understanding of project financials
  • Understanding of technology terms
