Senior Manager, Coasts and Oceans Programs

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Coasts, Oceans, Ports, Rivers Institute (COPRI) as the staff lead. This role requires a dynamic individual with technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the Institute's activities and programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the overall operations of COPRI, including staff management, budgeting, and financial reconciliation
- Planning and executing technical conferences, webinars, and workshops
- Developing and implementing communications, marketing, and sales plans for membership, events, and products
- Supporting the Institute's Board of Governors
- Managing technical, educational, and professional activities, and facilitating committee work
- Networking with other organizations and identifying partnership opportunities
- Responding to member inquiries and determining resource allocation
- Creating and revising technical reports, proposals, and contracts
- Overseeing the awards program and student and professional chapters
Ideal candidates will have:
- A 4-year degree in engineering or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in engineering or association management, with a technically oriented organization
- Mastery of the MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated success in managing people, programs, and projects
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
