Job Overview

Position Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and results-driven Fulfillment Manager to lead and enhance our order fulfillment operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and precise order processing, managing inventory levels effectively, and optimizing our shipping and logistics workflows. Familiarity with Shopify integrations and troubleshooting is crucial. While experience with fulfillment software such as ShipHero, ShipStation, or Extensiv is preferred, candidates without prior experience will be expected to learn quickly.

Primary Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment

  • Manage daily order fulfillment operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Oversee the flow of orders from receipt to shipment.
  • Guarantee that orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched.

Inventory Oversight

  • Maintain precise inventory records and optimize stock levels to align with customer demand while minimizing surplus.
  • Implement and supervise inventory control measures.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintained in a clean state.

Shipping and Delivery Management

  • Coordinate shipping timelines to ensure cost-effective and prompt delivery of products.
  • Manage relationships with shipping providers and negotiate rates as necessary.
  • Quickly resolve any shipping-related issues, delays, or discrepancies.

System Management and Troubleshooting

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Shopify integrations to facilitate seamless order processing.
  • Identify and address technical challenges related to fulfillment systems and integrations, aiming to improve system functionality.

Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure that in-house produced items meet quality standards before entering Fulfillment.
  • Inspect third-party products to guarantee the highest quality is delivered to our customers.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor fulfillment staff, providing training and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor departmental performance and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Preferred formal education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in fulfillment, logistics, or software (ShipHero, ShipStation, or Extensiv) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with Shopify and troubleshooting system integrations is required.
