Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service by role modeling our customer service commitment, following our customer service standards, and actively seeking to recognize, include, appreciate, support, and delight our guests.
  • Operational Leadership: Use operational tools and training to develop coffee and product knowledge, help guests find their favorites, and connect guests with events and offers by staying informed about relevant information.
  • Team Management: Accurately ring customer orders, follow proper cash handling procedures, maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events, and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, provide quality beverages and food products consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards, and follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and equipment.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training, provide feedback to the store manager on team performance during shift, and create a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to team members.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
  • Customer Service Experience: 1 year of customer service experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment, with at least 6 months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 6 months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
  • Availability: Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Skills: Ability to prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, ability to direct the work of others, ability to learn quickly, effective oral communication skills, knowledge of the restaurant and hospitality environment, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, and ability to build relationships.
