Job Title: Family Support Services Specialist

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Services Specialist to join our team. As a Family Support Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to our clients, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide transportation services to clients, including transporting children to and from program placements, supervised visits, and medical appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including the Transportation Request form and agency vehicle mileage and service records.
  • Conduct regular follow-up contacts with assigned foster homes to provide support and information.
  • Participate in community outreach programs, including recruitment events, foster parent meetings, and support groups.
  • Attend and participate in staff trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the unit supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • One to three years of experience in community service agencies preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and appropriate auto liability insurance required.
  • Ability to work extended hours, respond to emergencies during off hours, and frequent travel locally and through state as required.
