Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intake Coordinator/Insurance Specialist/Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless client access to mental healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Manage client scheduling, appointment cancellations, and rescheduling with ease.
  • Screen intake calls, verify insurance coverage, and match clients with suitable clinicians.
  • Credential clinicians, ensuring they meet the necessary standards.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve claims and billing issues.
  • Collect and maintain accurate client records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assist with daily office operations, prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including electronic health records and scheduling systems.
