Job Summary:

Capital One is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our endpoint management and security team, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on endpoint application and policy management, including configuration, integration, and deployment of enterprise policies. You will also manage 3rd Party Privileged Access Management Solution, interact with vendors to drive feature requests and resolve open issues, and work with partner teams to test and rollout changes to endpoints. Additionally, you will provide guidance on endpoint policy and application decisions, govern the enterprise approved product list, review and approve elevation requests, and provide project updates to leadership. You will also work with Line of Business associates to advise on solutions that reduce endpoint risk, support Cyber Security Operations Center Investigations / Inquiry Requests, and ensure compliance with corporate Governance, Security-Risk and Audit policies, procedures, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise on endpoint application and policy management
  • Manage 3rd Party Privileged Access Management Solution
  • Work with partner teams to test and rollout changes to endpoints
  • Provide guidance on endpoint policy and application decisions
  • Govern the enterprise approved product list
  • Review and approve elevation requests
  • Provide project updates to leadership

  • Ensure compliance with corporate Governance, Security-Risk and Audit policies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting macOS and Windows operating systems
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting endpoint management and security policies (JAMF, InTune, VMWare Workspace One UEM)
  • At least 2 year experience in scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Shell or JavaScript)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience in Database languages (SQL)
  • Experience implementing and managing endpoint privileged management solution
  • Experience managing mixed environments of Mac/PC/Linux
  • Experience in managing large scale deployments of tools to endpoints
  • Experience in Process Automation, Microsoft Windows Native security tools, Windows PowerShell Scripting or Linux Shell Scripting
  • Experience with configuration and incident management
  • Managed partner relationships, especially those involving vendors that provide services
