About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager Software Engineering - Real Time Platforms to help our growing Enterprise platform needs. As a pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all technology-related initiatives within the assigned Enterprise platforms and frameworks factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the domain's technology strategy, including transformational roadmaps.
  • Participate actively in project planning and prioritization sessions to ensure initiatives align with business goals.
  • Own delivery excellence, ensuring high-quality standards, code, and applications.
  • Ensure development quality and testing to enable effective and efficient transition of solutions from development to production within the organization's existing cloud ecosystem.
  • Manage and enforce enterprise architecture standards.
  • Ensure adherence to TFS' COBIT based risk and control framework and enterprise standards.
  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
  • Staff, mentor, and grow technical talent.
  • Provide regular reports to senior executives on the status of the domain, including domain performance and incident management.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise as a software engineering frameworks leader with experience in designing and implementing modern, cloud native business technology solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, advanced software design patterns & architecture, operations, and software engineering.
  • Solid technical foundation with relevant experience in Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST API, Real time streaming architectures, microservices architecture patterns.
  • Proven track record of delivering and operating scalable cloud native infrastructure and platform solutions to support APIs and real-time needs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to move seamlessly between conversing with engineers or frontline ops employees and leading presentations with non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Proven years of experience in developing scalable web applications and architectural standards.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Demonstrated years of experience with cloud technologies.
