About the Role:
The Small Business Account Executive will be responsible for building relationships with companies with up to 50 employees, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine prospective customers' needs for HR technology and present Paylocity's solutions to meet those needs.
- Prepare and present proposals, and provide timely follow-up throughout the sales process.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition to Paylocity for clients.
- Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, professional and personal contacts, and other sources.
- Attend Paylocity-sponsored events to promote our services.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quota for the territory.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of sales experience.
- Able to travel within the assigned territory and meet prospects in person.
- Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
